Museum Junkerhaus

The Junkerhaus is a creation of the artist Karl Junker (1850 – 1912). It is a two-storey half-timbered building with a brick base, square ground plan and richly carved architectural ornamentation. As in the area of the façade, wood also dominates in the furnishings of the rooms. All walls and ceilings, with the exception of the painted stove and oven rear walls, are clad with wood. Various rooms and the staircase have wall and ceiling paintings.
