Tour guide through Minden

An experienced tour guide gets on the bus with you and accompanies you on an exciting journey through Minden. You will drive past interesting buildings, historic squares and important sights. Major Minden companies and businesses will be briefly introduced. The tour is followed by a visit to the historic cathedral.

Schiffmühle

At lunchtime, you will visit the fully functional ship mill, which has been reconstructed according to 18th century plans. Unique in Germany: you can follow the path from grain to flour here. As a farewell and as a small preparation for lunch, you will receive a herbal liqueur.

Lunch break in the Schiffmühlengastronomie

You can enjoy your lunch with a great view of the Schiffmühle and the Weser. We will be happy to reserve a table for you here.

Canal Weser round trip

After you have fortified yourself, you will board a comfortable boat operated by Mindener Fahrgastschiffahrt. The journey takes you across the Weser and the Mittelland Canal, along the historic fishing town and the Weser promenade. Get to know the waterway junction from a different perspective and let yourself be locked over a height difference of 13 metres in the Weser lock.
