This building was erected in 1648 in the Weser Renaissance style. The Weser Renaissance is an architectural style that can be found on both sides of the Weser and had its heyday in the middle of the 17th century. Detailed information on the Weser Renaissance can be found in the Weser Renaissance Museum in Brake Castle in Lemgo. The house was renovated and rebuilt in 1923.
