The information boards on the fish trail explain the ecological structure of a low mountain river, including the Emmer. The educational trail presents the biodiversity of the river using graphically sophisticated illustrations and comprehensible explanations. The living conditions of various animals are listed - from insect larvae to water birds. The fish trail provides information about the diversity of species in the Emmer and raises public awareness of life under water.
All the pictures were hand-painted by specialists, are mounted as reverse glass pictures at a height of around 1.50 meters and are illuminated by solar lamps in the evening. The nature trail was created by the Lügde Community for Fishing and Nature Conservation on the occasion of its 50th anniversary.
