Experience the land of Hermann

in all its diversity!

The Land of Hermann stretches from the Senne at the southern foot of the Teutoburg Forest to the Weser River bend in the north, from the Lippe mountains in the east to the flatlands and hills in the west. The Hermann Monument and the Externsteine are the best known, but not the only cultural and tourist highlights. Discover the many museums and other cultural institutions in our Lippe region. Explore the medieval alleys and buildings in the seven historic town centers and enjoy the culinary offerings of our dedicated hosts. Due to its numerous spa and health resorts, our region is also known as the “healing garden of Germany.”
