The house has 5 day rooms, 38 family rooms, a total of 181 beds, mainly in four-bed rooms, 14 of which have a shower/WC. Including 1 wheelchair-friendly room with shower/WC, a large outdoor area, barbecue facilities, a bistro and WLAN.

Fahren Sie mit der Bahn bis zum Bahnhof Detmold, von dort folgen Sie ca. 30 Minuten zu Fuß den Hinweisschildern zur Jugendherberge. Ein Taxistand ist am Bahnhof - auch für Gepäcktransport.
Mit dem Anruf-Sammel-Taxi direkt zur Jugendherberge: Melden Sie Ihren Fahrtwunsch spätestens 30 Minuten vor der Abfahrtszeit bei der Mobilitätsberatung an: 05231 977-377 (Festnetztarif).
Mit dem Bus Linie 704 von der Haltestelle Bahnhof in Richtung Hiddesen bis zur Haltestelle Auf den Klippen. Sie überqueren die Hauptstraße und biegen auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite in den Radweg Richtung Jugendherberge (ausgeschildert). Laufdistanz ca. 700m.
Anfahrt zur Jugendherberge Detmold mit dem Bus/PKW
Über die A2 bis Autobahnkreuz Bielefeld, anschließend auf der A33 Richtung Paderborn; Abfahrt Stukenbrock weiter Richtung Augustdorf/Detmold. In Detmold halten Sie sich Richtung Hiddeser Berg/Bundesforschungsanstalt.
