The Bad Salzuflen Concert Hall was inaugurated on May 17, 1963, by the president of the Lippe regional association, Heinrich Drake. The praised "Wunderbau," known for its excellent acoustics, measures 88.8 meters by 33.3 meters and is divided into the areas of foyer, concert hall, and stage house. The concert hall was placed under monument protection on March 29, 2005, for historical reasons.
In autumn 2009, extensive renovation measures began. As part of these modifications, technical systems were updated, barrier-free access was enabled, and fire protection measures and energy-efficient modernizations were carried out. The concert hall was reopened on May 22, 2010. It now accommodates 1,123 music lovers and, together with the forecourt, spa house, and gradation tower, forms the spacious entrance to the spa park.
