Crossing the Weser on the historic high-wire ferry is not only an exciting experience for young and old, but also saves hikers and cyclists a lot of distance.

The current low-barrier Weser ferry, which was built in 2018, offers space for 10 passengers with bicycles and is a popular attraction for hikers and cyclists. This type of ferry is not only extremely environmentally friendly, as it has no drive motor, but is also quiet, allowing passengers to enjoy nature to the full during the crossing.

Operating times:

From April to October on weekends, public holidays and bridge days from 10:00 to 18:00 (last crossing at 17:45)

(No ferry service at high and low tide; ferry service is interrupted or suspended in the event of thunderstorms or heavy rain)

Crossings during the week only with registration (min. 10 people)
