Since October 2025, guests to Bad Meinberg have been able to experience a new tourist highlight with the illumination of the historic spa gardens. As darkness falls, visitors to the spa park are treated to an atmospheric play of colors that invites them to stroll and linger in the evening hours. There is also a light show accompanied by music at certain times.

Illumination of 8 prominent buildings in the historic spa park:
1. fountain temple
2. spa guest centre
3. music shell
4. ballroom
5. statue of Princess Pauline
6. bust of Dr. Trampel
7. Werre Bridge
8. Werre Bridge

The spa park illumination was financed as a GRW project (joint task for improving the regional economic structure). This funding is intended to sustainably strengthen tourist appeal and regional value creation.
