The decorative canal cover is made of brass and has the motif "1000 years of Meinberg".

Since the anniversary "150 years of the fountain temple" in 1991, a total of 12 lids have been donated by sponsors, who were able to attach their names to them, following the example of many cities in the world, such as Budapest, Bad Kissing and Coburg.
