Köterberg near Lügde

“Wow, what a view!” – That’s what you’ll say when you reach the top of Köterberg. At 496m the mountain is the
highest elevation in the Lipper Bergland and it fascinates with an impressive view.

All around it offers a free view into the Weserbergland and the Teutoburger forest. 62 villages of the states North Rhine-Westphalia, Lower Saxony and Hesse are within sight of the summit. The fantastic views range from the Hermann Monument in Detmold and the Porta Westfalica to Hercules near Kassel and the Brocken in the Harz Mountains.

All around the summit there are several hiking trails that invite you to explore the landscape. Natural paths, fantastic views and botanical specialities provide variety every step of the way.
