Multi-day hikes

Hikes lasting several days are so-called stage hikes. And why? Because you follow the hiking trail in stages. Our multi-day hikes are also area hikes, because on your hikes you stay in the land of Hermann. So if you still need accommodation for your planned multi-day hike, you will find further information here.

Hve Fun Hiking!

The Kalletal path is laid out as a circular path (the marker is a white “K” in a white circle on a black background).

For a total of 42 kilometres, the Carnation Trail offers hikers and walkers many opportunities to get to know the nature and landscape around the Blomberger Becken. Starting point of the hikes are the numerous parking lots along the circular trail.

Nine feeder paths form the petals of the Carnation Path and lead from the historic old town to the circular path. The medieval half-timbered town of Blomberg with its well restored half-timbered houses, the castle, the town wall and the last medieval town gate is definitely worth a detour.

Enjoy nature and pause for a moment. Hikers will experience impressive moments that will remain in their memories for a long time on the 57-kilometre-long Residenz Trail, which circles the city of Detmold in three stages and leads through beautiful mixed forest and a varied landscape of the Lippische Bergland.

In addition, it is advisable to experience the Residenzweg in three stages. The first 21-kilometre stage could end at the market place in Lage-Heiden, before you hike the second stage (19 kilometres) to Diestelbruch. The last stage is about 17 kilometres long.

Always follow the oscillating N with complete ease. The Weg der Blicke connects the Extertalpfad and the Kalletalpfad with the Dörentruper and Barntruper Circular Trail to form an almost 146 km long, marked circular trail through the northern Lippe mountain region.

At selected locations there are panoramic boards describing the landscape and the view. Enjoy the magnificent views along the trail, which is divided into 10 stages of varying length.

The approx. 40 km long “Path of Silence” connects four extraordinary places in a holiday region that has long since made a name for itself as a hiking and monastery region. Hiking and pilgrimage stages, each 10 to 15 kilometres long, marked by the “Weg-der-Stille” logo, lead through the Teutoburger Wald / Eggegebirge Nature Park.

Each destination (Corvey, Brenkhausen, Marienmünster and Schwalenberg) offers a special focus that you can take with you to benefit from on your journey.
