Multi-day tours

Multi-day tours are so-called stage bike tours. And why? Because you can cycle down the cycle path in stages. Our multi-day tours are at the same time also area tours, because on your tour you stay in the Land des Hermann the whole time. So if you still need accommodation for your planned multi-day tour, you can find more information here.

Have fun cycling!

…where Kaiser Wilhelm is on guard…

Almost invisibly in the marshes of the Moorheilbad, the Werre rises and has “its first big appearance” in the Historic Kurpark of the State Spa Meinberg. On the Moor Mile you follow the path of the natural remedy from the peat cutting to the moor bath.

Further on you reach Detmold. The cultural city is still the residence of the former princes of the Lippe. On the way to your destination is the Brickworks Museum, an anchor point of the European Route of Industrial Heritage. In Bad Salzuflen the white gold was produced at the Salzhof. Today the graduation works are the centre of the town and bring salty “North Sea climate” into the spa gardens.

Frank Gehry built museums not only in Bilbao, but also the MARTa in the old Hanseatic city of Herford, the next big point on your bike tour. The city guides tell about witches, pilgrims and abbesses. The Aqua Magica, centre of the State Garden Show 2000, is a worthwhile detour on your way to Bad Oeynhausen. In the spa town itself, the Kaiserpalais is home to the GOP Varieté Theatre.

The Weserbogen will guide you through the land of Cinderella and Baron Münchhausen, before the Pied Piper welcomes you to his town – even in person if you wish! The “capital” of the Weser Renaissance is a real crowd puller.

Then continue along the Emmer river, where 2000 years ago the Romans moved back to Xanten from their summer camp. You too follow this river course until the main work of the Weser Renaissance appears – the Hämelschenburg. The next castle is in Germany’s most beautiful spa gardens in Bad Pyrmont. On the way to your destination in Bad Meinberg the SchiederSee invites you to stay. Finally, our visitor magnets invite you to visit the Hermannsdenkmal and the 38 m high Externsteine.

On the journey from highlight to highlight you can enjoy the extraordinary scenic variety and the varied terrain of Lippe. In addition to flat areas, it is the mountain ranges of the Teutoburg Forest and the Lippe mountains that frame a rather flat and undulating hilly landscape.
