Episode 1: Great hiking trails – Hiking in Lippe
Lippe has already proven its cultural diversity and multi-faceted history in the first four seasons of the Prinzen Story. But the Land des Hermann is hardly known and loved for anything as much as hiking. With its beautiful forests and an extensive, varied network of hiking trails, it is a top hiking region. At the 118th Hiking Day in 2018, hikers from all over Germany could see for themselves. Among them were numerous prominent hiking fans. Prince Stephan tells us more about hiking in his homeland and introduces us to some of his favourite destinations and trails.
Episode 2: Blomberg – the city of flowers
In the second episode of the fifth season of our Prince’s Story we drive together with Prince Stephan zur Lippe to Blomberg. The old city of the Lippe counts with its medieval charm is also called the city of flowers in the Lippe city wreath. We discover a legendary fountain and learn something about the Weser Renaissance from Prince Stephan.
Episode 3: On the bike – on the Fürstenallee to the Mausoleum
On the e-bike along the Fürstenallee – in the footsteps of Charlemagne! In this episode of the Prince’s Story, a sporty prince shows us how to explore the Land des Hermann by bike. With us: an old, heavy iron key – because we follow the prince to the mausoleum of the family at Büchenberg. Even an ancestor of the Queen of the Netherlands rests here!
Episode 4: Culinary delights and family tradition
At the end of the Prince’s Story we go to enjoy fresh trout together with the princely family – from the water directly on the plate. On the Fürstenallee we drive to Schlangen and meet the host of the Fürstliches Forsthaus Kreuzkrug. He tells us something about the tradition of trout preparation in his inn. A beloved family tradition for Prince Stefan and his family is the regular visit to the rustic restaurant. A beautiful conclusion of this personal film series from the land of Hermann.
